We serve dishes inspired by things we enjoyed cooking and eating while living in Thailand. We try to make things in-house when it makes sense and source locally when it doesn’t. Other more obscure ingredients we import from Thailand. The food is best when shared and everything goes well with rice. Always rice. Most dishes will be spicy but we can tone it down (or up) upon request. The food is seasoned assertively and uses lots of peanuts & fresh herbs like cilantro, mint, basil & dill. SO, if you have any allergies, dislikes, or dietary restrictions, please speak to your server so we can adjust.

LAGER

A light lager with a crisp, refreshing taste and a full, smooth body. A slightly spicy and fruity aroma from the use of Tettnanger hops. 4.0%

ALL HANDS
HELLES LAGER

A German-style Helles made with Pilsner malt and a blend of European hops. Clean, cracker-like flavour and a mild, herbal hop profile. 4.8%

NINE LIVES
PORTER

A dark ale brewed with oats and chocolate malts. Aged on blueberry and dark currant purees. Flavours of chocolate, dark berry and biscuit. 4.8%

CASUAL ACQUAINTANCE
DRY-HOPPED PILSNER

A German-style pilsner hopped with Vic Secret. A crisp and easy-drinking lager with a combination of grassy, herbal and fruity flavours. 5.0%

PERMANENT VACATION
MEXICAN LAGER

A lager brewed with flaked corn, Pilsner, and Vienna malt. Light and crisp with a hint of sweetness, hopped lightly with Motueka for a hint of lime. 5.2%

THIRST TRAP
PALE ALE

An American Pale Ale dry-hopped with Citra and Columbus. Soft mouthfeel and a fruity hop character makes for an easy-drinking, flavourful beer. 5.5%

BACK POCKET
VIENNA LAGER

A copper coloured, Vienna-style lager with aromas of molasses, toffee and malt. Flavours of caramel, biscuit and bread crust. Moderately bitter with a dry finish. 6.0%

DRIVE TRUE
IPA

Brewed with Pilsner malt and flaked oats. Hopped with Motueka, Galaxy and Vic Secret, this IPA has notes of key lime pie and stone fruit. 7.0%

BEACHCOMBER
IPA

This is the second instalment in our series of collabs with Namjim. An IPA made with pilsner malt, toasted rice and milk sugar. After a heavy dry hop with Sabro and Eclipse hops it was then conditioned on a Thai tea dust (Ceylon black tea and spice mix). Medium-bodied with a slight sweetness and flavors of citrus, coconut, cardamom, and cinnamon. 7.0%

MEDIUM COOL
WEST COAST IPA

An IPA brewed with Pilsner and a small addition of crystal malt and hopped with Summit, Cascade and Simcoe. Notes of pine, citrus and grapefruit rind. 7.5%

ISLAND TIME
DIPA

An American-style Double IPA generously hopped with Citra, Galaxy, and Simcoe. Full-bodied with notes of tropical fruit, orange, and tangerine. 8.0%

EPIPHANY #2 ($25)
BARREL AGED GOLDEN ALE

Made in collaboration with Portage Restaurant. This single barrel beer was aged for six months in oak and a couple of months in bottles. Dry-hopped and conditioned on pineapple weed. This beer is quite complex, but still approachable and refreshing. It’s tropical on nose with pineapple and coconut shining through. It’s juicy but dry. Expect some white wine, spruce, mandarin pith and grapefruit in the glass.
